The Road Home

So Tuesday marks the last day of our UK tour. We headed home from Glasgow via Perth and across Glenshee. As we left Glasgow it was still miserable weather wise, but the further north we headed the better things got.

Our plan was to stop off in Perth for a late brunch and to also hit Marks and Spencer food hall to stock up on some provisions. Although Ive been through Perth several times, Ive never actually stopped. We managed to find a wee cafe on the high street called Reids Cafe . They did a lovely homemade pancake with bacon and maple syrup 😉

After whizzing around M&S with a trolley , we headed north east across Glenshee and arrived in Braemar for a quick bowl of soup at Gordons Tearoom. Then that was us before heading off for the final 45mins drive back to the house.

By the time we arrived on the drive, the mileage on the Landie trip meter just turned 1563 milesand the sun had come out!

What a fabulous 10 days stay-cation!!!
